Manny Corona

Position title: Affiliate Athletic Trainer

Manny Corona joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison Recreation and Wellbeing athletic training staff as an affiliate athletic trainer during the fall of 2022. He provides musculoskeletal, orthopedic and neurological care to all students enrolled at UW-Madison.

Prior to joining Rec Well, Manny spent 2 years providing sports medicine services as the primary athletic trainer to Division I athletic teams at Canisius University. The patients that were under his care participated in Baseball, Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Soccer.

Prior to joining the Canisius staff, Manny gained valuable experience working as an athletic training intern with the Buffalo Bills, working closely with the quarterbacks and offensive lineman.

Manny received his undergraduate degree in athletic training from SUNY Brockport in May 2020. He obtained his Master of Science in Health & Human Performance with a focus in Strength & Conditioning from Canisius University in May 2022. The Westchester, N.Y., native, is currently in his final year in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
