Massage Therapist

University Recreation and Wellbeing is seeking part-time Massage Therapists to provide massage services to Recreation & Wellbeing members at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Some benefits of this position include professional development funds, flexible hours, high demand for services, and no client scheduling responsibilities. Massages will take place at The Nicholas Recreation Center and the future Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center. You will have the opportunity to help expand our massage therapy program in a new facility for the UW-Madison community. Massage therapists treat members one-on-one using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. Massage therapists can relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, decrease stress and aid in general wellness of members.

Facilities Technician II

Under the supervision of the Building and Ground Supervisors, this position provides services in support of University Recreation & Wellbeing. This position’s primary responsibility is support of the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all indoor and outdoor recreational sports facilities and equipment. This position will mainly be required to work outside at all Recreation & Wellbeing outdoor fields and spaces, Monday-Friday during the day. Typical hours are 7am – 3pm.

Tennis Instructor

Recreation & Wellbeing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking dynamic, energetic tennis instructors with a passion for tennis and providing fun, safe, and engaging tennis programs to all ages. The Tennis Instructor is a part-time position under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Tennis at Nielsen Tennis Stadium. Instruction opportunities include group and individual lessons for all ages and levels of play. There may also be opportunities for instructor-led tennis programs such as Cardio Tennis, drills, leagues, and more. Hours will vary; flexibility to work nights and/or weekends is required.
