The Esports Lounge is a space dedicated to providing all UW-Madison students with a place to play and try new games. All experience levels are welcome. The Lounge is equipped with 12 computers designed specifically for gaming. Please note, using Esports Lounge computers for academic work is not prohibited, but is discouraged.

Beginning at 6pm each day, the Esports Lounge hosts a variety special events, club practices, intramural tournaments, and open rec.
These groups have priority to use the Esports Lounge computers, however, if there is room to play, come in!

If those aren’t your speed, no sweat! Enjoy events, get togethers throughout the year, and soak in free pizza, Minecraft, and team outings like bowling and rock climbing.

Is the room reservable?
Yes, but reservations will be considered on a case-by-case basis and requests must be submitted throug the Rec Well reservation request.
Are controllers available?
Yes, controllers can be checked out for free at the Bakke Member Services desk.
Do I have to pay to use the Esports Lounge?
Nope! The Esports Lounge is free to use.
How long can I play?
Game time is limited to six hours per day, per player.
Can I download new games?
No. Any content downloaded will also be deleted on reboot. If you would like to request a new game, fill out this suggestions form.
