Dance Elite
Dance Elite is the official Club Dance Team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our team provides students with the opportunity to continue dancing and competing at the collegiate level after high school. Members train and perform in jazz, lyrical, pom, and hip hop while proudly representing UW-Madison at performances, competitions, and campus events throughout the year.
Tryouts are held annually at the beginning of the fall semester, where dancers are selected to join the team for the academic year. Throughout the season, members have the opportunity to perform at a variety of events, including the UW Homecoming Parade, Wisconsin Women’s Volleyball games, regional dance competitions across the Midwest, a national competition, and our annual end-of-year showcase.
Beyond dance, Dance Elite is committed to fostering leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. Members have opportunities to serve in leadership roles, participate in volunteer initiatives, and contribute to fundraising efforts that support the team’s success and make a positive impact on the UW-Madison and greater Madison communities.
