Fencing

Members of the Fencing Club are pictured on an indoor court.

The Fencing Team of UW-Madison competes in Olympic-style fencing in all three disciplines of saber, foil, and epee. Our team consists of active members who train for and compete in USFA, Midwest Fencing Conference, and USACFC tournaments.

By joining the team you are able to attend practices, engage in the strength and conditioning program, attend team competitions, seek out and compete in USFA competitions, and conduct fundraising activities. We don’t require prior fencing experience, but we ask for a commitment of time and effort to learn the sport.
