Field Hockey

The University of Wisconsin Field Hockey Team is a coed team, and a member of the National Field Hockey League (NFHL), competing at the collegiate club level since 2014. Each year, our team participates in national competitions and represents UW-Madison on a competitive state.

We travel across the Midwest, facing club teams from universities throughout the region, building a network of competition and community. Practices are held three afternoons per week, and games take place on weekends. Additionally, we regularly host team bonding and volunteering opportunities.

Our program is designed to be welcoming to all skill level, offering both a travel team and a home team to support different levels of experience, commitment, and competition. Whether athletes are new to the sport or seasoned players, the UW Field Hockey Team provides inclusive training, competition, and a supportive team culture that welcomes everyone.
