The Figure Skating Club of UW-Madison (FSCUW) is an entirely student-run organization that offers students recreational and competitive figure skating opportunities for UW-Madison students. We operate under the University’s Division of Recreation and Wellbeing and our Governing Body, U.S. Figure Skating.
FSCUW is an intercollegiate team that competes against other universities at sanctioned regional and national U.S. Figure Skating Intercollegiate Competitions. Our team travels around the Midwest and competes at 3 regional competitions per season, where skaters can compete in individual and team events.
Intercollegiate team competitions are optional. Competing at intercollegiate competitions provides a great opportunity to meet other teams – especially other Big10 schools! We have a great time bonding as a team, meeting other skaters, and representing our school! Our club has 3 one hour practices per week, which are all optional for members to attend. Cost for ice time is included in your dues for each team so you can skate as much or as little as you like!
Whether you join our Intercollegiate Team or come to practices, you’ll find a supportive, team based environment that makes continuing your skating career throughout college a blast!
