The Wisconsin Track Club is a collegiate club Cross Country and Track and Field team here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our club members range from inexperienced to highly experienced and competitive. We compete in a lot of meets across Wisconsin, the Midwest and the nation. We are a member of the National Intercollegiate Running Clubs of America (NIRCA) and go to the regionals and nationals meets for NIRCA cross country and track and field. Although competition is not required to be a club member, it is highly encouraged. We are continuing to expand our team into a fully competitive track and field team in the spring so if you are interested in field events we want you! Our club was started in the 90’s and was not originally affiliated with the University so our mascot is the cows. Additionally we host many outreach events in the summer including the Summer Track Series and Capitol mile in an attempt to foster physical activity and athleticism in the community. Feel free to check us out at wisconsintc.org and come run, jump and throw with us!
