Squat, deadlift, and bench, oh my! Appropriately called “The Big Three,” these three lifts can be scary if you don’t know what you are doing, but have no fear — that’s why we’re here! Our personal trainers can teach you how to do all three lifts properly in just three personal training sessions. The three sessions are one-on-one to really focus on your personal growth. Our personal trainers will assess your form to begin with and end the personal training sessions with an evaluation leaving you with an exercise packet to continue your fitness journey.
Why are these three lifts so important?
The squat, deadlift, and bench are what we like to call “ADL”, or activities of daily living. For example, squats are a stand-to-sit motion which mimics the daily motion of sitting in a chair. It’s essential to develop these exercises properly in order to maintain optimal body alignment. All of these exercises can set a strong base for a workout plan because they are foundational movements. By focusing on these movements, you can refresh your lifting plan and ensure you are using proper technique to avoid injury.
