My name is Erin Clark, and I am the Assistant Director of Athletic Training here at Rec Well. I work with an amazing team of athletic trainers to provide a medical service to all students on campus. We can be found across campus within University Health Services (UHS) facilities on East Campus Mall, Dejope Residence Hall, in the Nicholas Recreation Center, and out at Sport Club events.
Athletic training is often associated with “traditional” athletes and sports, however athletic trainers are musculoskeletal specialists who care for all individuals in a variety of settings – we are movement specialists.
While Rec Well athletic trainers provide medical coverage to a variety of club and intramurals sport events, we also provide 70 hours/week of athletic training service to any students on campus regardless of their activity level.
Our team prides itself in being advocates for student health, connecting students to appropriate medical disciplines, and allowing students to be able or return to movement following an injury. Whether it’s for a student who sprained an ankle on a basketball court or stepping off the bus, we are movement and rehabilitation specialists who are here to help. We strive to make healthcare accessible to all students on campus by offering multiple times and locations of appointments and include telemedicine availability when appropriate.
